Viewing Submissions

Every submission to your forms is stored in the dashboard. You can browse them, read the full details, and track which ones you have already seen.

Submission list

Open any form in the dashboard to see its submissions, ordered newest first.

Each row shows a preview of the first field value. Unread submissions are marked with a dot. The unread count also appears as a badge on the Forms link in the sidebar.

Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Load more to see older submissions (20 at a time).

Submission detail

Click any submission to open its detail view. You will see:

  • All submitted fields and their values
  • The submission timestamp (formatted in your preferred timezone if you have set one in account settings)
  • Metadata: a hashed version of the submitter’s IP address, their browser user agent, and the referring page URL

Opening a submission automatically marks it as read. The unread dot is removed from the list.

Field display

  • Email addresses in field values are shown as clickable mailto: links.
  • URLs starting with http:// or https:// are shown as clickable links that open in a new tab.
  • All other values are shown as plain text. HTML in field values is displayed as literal text, not rendered.

Deleting submissions

Single deletion

Open a submission and click the Delete button in the header (next to the Reply button). A confirmation dialog asks you to confirm. The submission is permanently deleted and you are returned to the form page.

Bulk deletion

Use the checkboxes in the submission list to select one or more submissions. A select all checkbox in the list header selects every loaded submission.

When at least one submission is selected, a floating action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing the count and a Delete button. Click it to open a confirmation dialog, then confirm to permanently delete the selected submissions.

You can also press Delete or Backspace on your keyboard while submissions are selected to open the confirmation dialog.

Good to know

  • Submissions are retained according to your plan: 90 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, unlimited on Business. After the retention period, submissions are automatically deleted. See the limits page for details.
  • The submission preview in the list shows the first non-empty field value, truncated to 80 characters.
